Ty has a background in Mixed Martial Arts, with this he brings a high volume approach to his style of training. He graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor's in Business Economics and a certificate in International Business. He has been actively a part of the fitness community since 2002. He has had great success with coaching fitness competitors. Since the establishment of Tytin Fitness in April of 2016 he has had 50+ athletes take the stage and brought home numerous top 5 trophies. He brings a determined, but encouraging energy to all his clients and classes.
Monique Machiz, B.S., ACE, FMS, ACE-FN
Monique graduated from Whittier College in Whittier, California with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Chemistry and was inducted into the national honors society for Kinesiology. She has experience in both group and one-on-one training as well as coaching young female athletes in a team setting. Monique is passionate about training and is always eager to learn about new modalities of exercise as well as helping her clients stay motivated and adopt healthy lifestyles. Her training arsenal includes kettlebells, functional training, corrective exercise, weight loss and strength training and conditioning. she enjoys meeting new people, staying fit and playing with her dog.

As a kid Derek always dreamed of being an athlete, although the definition has changed slightly, the dream is still there. His ultimate goal is to be the best all around athlete he can be, using the human body to its full potential. He enjoys hitting the trails in Northern Arizona and camping out of a backpack. He also enjoys competitive bodybuilding, calisthenics, yoga, and a number of other activities all while keeping a 40-hour workweek. Derek has learned to tailor his life to fit his fitness goals and wants to do the same for you! His training style is tailored to those looking to increase longevity, create intuitive eating habits, move better, feel better and of course look even better!
